Use tempo pumping, kick-band detection, a full-band audio transient or MIDI note-on. Host routing determines available sidechain inputs.
Add LS Link to the kick track, give it a name, and select it under Kick waveform preview. See a rolling half-second of its peak envelope. For audio-triggered ducking, also route the kick to Pull Out’s DAW sidechain input.
Built for your DAW.
Made by Low Standards.
Add LS Link or another Low Standards plugin to the kick mixer track and name it Kick. In Pull Out, use the same Session name and choose Kick under Kick waveform preview. For kick-triggered ducking, route that mixer track to the external audio sidechain, choose Kick sidechain, and set Threshold. Draw your recovery curve with draggable points; use Sync Length or milliseconds for duration.
A linked track shows its most recent half-second of peak-envelope history, normalized to its own peak. This rolling preview is not aligned to the ducking cycle. With no linked track, the display uses the latest routed audio trigger over the chosen cycle. Selecting a preview does not route audio or change the trigger.
The envelope has 33 time positions, including two fixed endpoints. Add/delete anchors with right-click, or double-click on Mac. A normal click selects a point for dragging.
Check the selected trigger, routing, Threshold and Strength. Tempo mode follows transport. MIDI input support varies by host; use the VST3 build for MIDI routing. The AU keeps its existing effect identity for saved projects.
It estimates simultaneous 40–300 Hz energy in the processed bass and sidechain. It depends on signal level and is a listening aid, not a full masking analysis.

Enter an Instrument / track name below the controls. Low Standards plugin instances in the same DAW process share spectra and waveform analysis. Add the free LS Link companion to any other mixer track you want to see.
Use the same Session name on both tracks. In Rotation choose a Compare track to see its spectrum and overlap. In Pull Out choose a Kick waveform preview, then route the kick to the DAW sidechain separately if you want it to trigger ducking. Names and selections save with the project.
Track analysis stays on your computer and needs no network connection. LS Link passes the original samples unchanged with zero added latency. Separately bridged plugin processes cannot discover each other. Match session names to separate projects.
